She asked, “Why only me who have to be righteous?”. “Coz you are supposed to be.”, he answered. She opened Google & searched the meaning to understand if its a feminine word. It showed different words to make one understand: honorable, morally right or obeying law. She started thinking in what sense is she supposed to be honorable, by the virtue of being born as a human or for giving the access of my right to Him or for just following his words rather setting her own path. When her actions, thoughts and existence is governed by him then why is he not righteous, why is he not supposed to be honorable.

Whenever we are at a public place she is one step back from him coz her presence is needed there but not her existence. Its morally right to portray a good picture of husband & wife in society, to present an ideal couple’s good conduct by covering the humiliation she faces, by following insensible rules set by her family & society and by killing her will. “Am I only supposed to be morally right? Does morals & society belong only to me”, she questions herself.

She has always followed more laws than normally applicable. There is a law to have a driving license before anyone drives, she has an additional law which is that she need not to drive. Why? coz she is not supposed to as if she has a work to be done she can ask others to do but leave the house for an unnecessary reason. Her household work, meeting friends etc. are not necessary & does not qualify to be a reason to learn driving. “ I have never broken any law, said or unsaid, does that make me supposed to be”. She thought.

She finished analyzing the three words: honorable, morally right and obeying law, then……..

The festive season of Navaratri is celebrated in the honor of divine feminine where all shapes & faces of Goddess is worshiped. Her shape represents virtue, ethical, morality, justice, noble, spiritual, decency, honesty, pious & honorable all being righteous. “Now, I understand why only i am supposed to be but not He.” She smiled.
